This week’s Diva challenge was to use the tangle, Drawings (pronounced Draw-wings) that Rick and Maria introduced last November at the CZT class ZenAgain.
I struggled with this tangle, practicing it over and over in my sketch books, and I’m still not that comfortable with it. It isn’t one of my favorites – at least not yet but I love to look at other’s, who seem to have a better feel for the tangle, do with it.
It was also a challenge to find a tangle to go with Drawings. I wanted something simple, so I chose Florz.
Here is my tile:
Tangle: Drawings and Florz
Color: Prismacolor pencil and graphite pencil for Drawings. Graphite pencil for Florz.
Be sure to check out Laura’s Diva blog to see how others have responded to the challenge. I hope that you find these tiles inspiring and educational. I’m excited to see what others have created with the tangle Drawings and to get some ideas of other tangles to go with it 🙂
As always, I am grateful for all of your comments, which are a great source of encouragement and support.
There are times when I would like to leave a comment about someone’s tile but find that I am not able to do so because I don’t have any of the accounts required to respond. Sorry! I hope you know that I appreciate your tiles too!
Until next time,
Sending smiles,
Maureen
