This week The Diva, Laura Harms, challenged us to use the tangle Aquafleur. As with Laura, this has not been one of my go-to tangles. I am delighted when others use it in their art, but it isn’t my first thought (nor any other number you can think of, thought) when deciding which tangle to include in my work.
For me, there are tangles that while they look fine all by themselves, just don’t seem to play well with my favorite patterns and Aquafleur is one of them. I’ll probably use my sketchbooks and play with combining this tangle with others to see if I can figure out what works for me. (I did enjoy adding the color, however. 😀 )
Here is my tile for this week’s challenge…
PS. A special thank you to all who sent me emails and well-wishes as I deal with this medical issue. I anticipate the treatments to conclude before the end of the year. 🙂
Be sure to check out Laura’s blog to see how others have responded to this week’s challenge. I hope that you find these tiles as inspiring and educational as I do. Maybe I can get some ideas of what tangles to combine with Aquafleur. 🙂
Until next time,
