Hey, Dewd…

This week’s challenge is to use Rick and Maria’s tangle, Dewd. They have a YouTube video showing how draw the tangle. There are stepouts if that works better for you,  The Diva, Laura Harms, also created a video showing how she does Dewd.  Laura used a pointed pen to draw the tangle.

Although this tangle has not yet made it onto my “Mac and Cheese” tangle list, maybe with more practice it will.

Maria used the number 10 White Gellyroll pen to draw her tangle, which gives a thicker line, so I decided to use a Micron 08 to draw mine.  I decided to do this tile in black and grey on a 3″ white tile.

My tile for this week:

Tangle: Dewd

Be sure to check out Laura’s blog to see how others have responded to this week’s challenge.  I hope that you find these tiles as inspiring and educational as I do.  I always learn something from those who post their tiles.  Thank you to all of you.  🙂

And thank you to all who viewed my new book, Tips for Tangling,  on Amazon. com  🙂  and a huge THANK YOU to those who purchased a copy.

Until next time,
Sending smiles,

  • A did not look at the video. Now, I think I should have. I and a really hard time drawing Dewd, so I understand what you a talking about. Your final product is so cute!

  • Our tangles are kinda similar this week 😀 I was having a tough time figuring out what to put with it.

    • Thank you Duchess! This tangle doesn’t “speak” to me yet, but who knows what the future will bring. I am glad that I tried it for the challenge, otherwise I may have never even given it a chance. 🙂

  • Like you, Dewd is not ‘speaking’ to me. Maybe ever, who knows….
I like your tile however 🙂

    • Thank you, Annemarie. 🙂 It is nice to know that I am not te only one who has not fully embraced this tangle. 🙂
