The UMT Challenge for March

On the first Monday of each month Laura Harms randomly chooses a tangle from those submitted to her blog.  She calls this the UMY Challenge, which means “Use My Tile.”  This month’s UMT tangle is “Unbatz” by Sandy Hunter.  You can find the step outs on Sandy’s blog.

And I send wishes for Artoo’s speedy recovery.

Here is my tile for this week’s challenge:

Tangles: Unbatz, Marasu, Zewm and Colored with Prismcolor Pencils

Tangles: Unbatz, Zewm, Marasu
Colored with Prismcolor Pencils

It took me awhile to decide which tangles to put with this pattern and I found that to do Unbatz justice I needed to give it room.   It was a fun tangle and I hope you will give it a try.  I wonder what it would look like if it were smaller and what it would look like if it were larger.  It will be fun experimenting.

Now that I have submitted my tile I am going to Laura’s blog to see how others interpreted the challenge and what tangles they chose to use.  I hope that you will look at the submissions.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  And as always, I really appreciate your comments.

Until next time,
Sending smiles,
Maureen
