With the introduction of the newest official tangle, Molygon, I became really intrigued about this week’s Diva Challenge. I have become addicted to ZenGems so I wanted to see if I could combine the new tangle with a gem and this is what I came up with:
Tangle: Molygon
Colored with Prismacolor pencils
While I’m not totally satisfied with the tile, I post my first tile in answer to the challenge. Next time I will try larger Molygons to see if they look better with the ZenGem. I’ll have to take the time to play more this weekend. 🙂
The image below shows part of just one of my many, many practice sheets. (The paper is bigger than my scanner so it cut off the bottom.) I like trying different colored pencils to see how they work for me. I was surprised at how well the Crayola colored pencils worked, but my favorites are still my PrismaColor pencils.

If these inspire you to create ZenGems, I just want to warn you…they are incredibly addictive!
Now that my blog has been posted I am going to see what others created in response to the challenge. I hope you will take time to view the tiles at the Diva Challenge blog and find these tiles as inspiring and educational as I do. The challenge also shows the step-outs for Molygon.
There are times that I would like to leave a comment about someone’s tile but find that I am not able to do so because the only option that I am able use is the name/URL option. I do not fit into the other categories. Sorry! I hope you know that I appreciate your tiles too!
As always, I am so grateful to all who leave me comments, which are a great source of encouragement and support. To those who left comments last time, a huge THANK YOU!
Until next time,
Sending smiles,
Maureen
