This week’s Diva Challenge is to use two and only two tangles, both of which are by Margaret Bremner. These two tangles are Copada and Chebucto.
This is my tile for this week:
It was interesting putting these two tangles together. I thought about creating them inside of Hollibaugh segments, but then I would be using three tangles, so I gave up on that idea. Then I thought about weaving them together and figured that what I had in my mind wouldn’t showcase either pattern, so I decided to use Chebucto as a frame and Copada across the interior of the tile.
I am a little late getting this tile done because I was getting ready for the blizzard coming to CT. I actually love the snow, but am not looking forward to the winds. I just hope that I don’t lose my electricity because if I do I lose my heat. And they are saying that if we lose our electricity it could take three or four days to get it back. That’s cold! The workers can’t start until the storm is over, which they are predicting to be sometime on Wednesday. It will be what it will be.
I encourage you to visit the Diva Challenge and see how others are answering this challenge. It is amazing how we all respond differently. Enjoy them.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I would be delighted if you left me a comment. And, a huge thank all who have left comments in the past.
