In Honor of Amanda Day…

This week’s challenge is to use recycled materials and create a tile to celebrate “Amanda Day.” To read about the origins of Amanda Day go to Laura’s blog

I used the lid of the Kind Bar box to do this tile. The surface felt very different from a Renaissance tile, so it was a challenge. It was fun using the brown pen and white gel pen! I love the way the white gel pen adds drama, but I also felt that I used it too much on this tile. This is one of the things I love about these challenges. I learn so much from doing them!

Here is my tile for this week’s challenge:

Tangles: Shilo, Marasu, Shattuck, Printemps, Barquillos, and Sand Swirl

Be sure to check out Laura’s blog to see how others have responded to this week’s challenge.  I hope that you find these tiles as inspiring and educational as I do.  I always learn something from those who post their tiles.  Thank you to all of you.  🙂

And thank you to all who viewed my new book, Tips for Tangling,  on Amazon. com  🙂  and a huge THANK YOU to those who purchased a copy.

Until next time,
Sending smiles,

🙂
