One of the CZT seminar ‘homework’ assignments was to deconstruct a pattern. We were asked to find a pattern in the hotel and break it down into the Zentangle elements of a dot, a line, a curved line, the letter S and/or an orb.
I found a beautiful frame around a mirror and when I looked at it closer there was a pattern that I found intriguing. As I worked on it, it looked like beehives, so I named it ARNIA, which is the Italian word for beehive. This is my first tangle pattern.
